Fics like I'll Change For You

Distantly, Bruce knew this was a bad idea that he was almost certainly going to regret. That thought was gone almost as soon as it came, however, as he stumbled outside the large doors of the gala venue with his phone in hand. OR: a heartbroken Bruce drinks a bit too much at a gala, and calls his ex to beg for another chance. This confuses Clark, who was pretty darn sure Bruce was the one that had broken up with him, but Bruce seems to believe the opposite. Will the World's Finest overcome their greatest obstacle: clear communication? Title and plot from I'll Change For You by Mitski
