Fics like Protocol:Living

After betraying its creator Dr. Ivo robotnik and being defeated by Sonic, Metal Sonic is teleported to the planet copper-9. Programmed to destroy. Created to obey. But never designed to feel. In a frozen world full of drones and secrets buried in snow, metal must survive without orders, without purpose, without reason to exist. Until he meets V, N and Uzi. Drones that help you explore every corner of yourself and excel every day. "What do you want to be, Metal? Not what you were programmed to be. What you want." For the first time in its existence, Metal Sonic has to choose. Continue to be the weapon that eggman created? Or become something else? Something he never thought possible. Someone free.
