“Uh-” the girl clutched the papers tightly in her hand “Do you need smut to enjoy a book? Or do you also like romances that only get a little steamy?” … That… wasn’t what Kakashi was expecting. He knew some people had weird ideas about his sexual preferences because of the literature he chose to read but… this didn’t feel like that. Was she asking just to know? In what way could she possibly segway this into a confession? “...I guess if the romance is good I don’t mind if there’s no smut?" Yes, even him, friend-killer Kakashi, stumbled through the word 'smut'. It’s not like he’d ever used it before! This was one of the most bizarre conversations he’d had, up there with the time in his youth he’d caught Gai spying on him in the toilet. The girl brightened at that, her wolf cut bobbing up and down as she nodded her head to herself. The big blush persisted, but she seemed to gain more confidence. “Right! Um… I was maybe wondering if-” somehow, Kakashi no longer thought she was going to confess “-maybe you could read my story and tell me what you think about it?” . Or, public porn-reading is less of a deterrent than he hoped, but maybe that's ok after all.
