Fics like Echoes of the Sea

Eternal. That's what you are. Two years after the death of the Overlord, dark rumors of a mysterious gloom come bubbling up from below Hyrule Castle. Ever the hero, Lloyd goes to investigate. Ever steadfast, Nya goes with him. And beneath the castle — far, far beneath the castle — they find the supposed source of the gloom; two arms, trapped against one another, and the stone holding them captive. But things go wrong. Instead of the Hero of Destiny, the Sacred Prince and wielder of the ancient Sword of Sanctuary, it's Nya Jiang-Smith that awakens in the future high above the clouds, tasked with saving their realm from a threat that predates the very dawn of time. Missing an arm, her brother, and stranded in a world turned upside-down with nothing but a handful of broken-down constructs and the echoes of Lloyd's memories as her guides, Nya is determined to unravel the truth of the ancient Imprisoning War and bring her brother home — no matter the cost. Your body. Your mind. Everything.
