Hi, journal. Weird start, I don’t know how to start. I guess hi, me. This is the first entry of the journal for Dr. Copeland. I don’t really get how it will help, but she’s good at this, so this is probably good too. I didn’t tell her today, but I made the appointment because I’m lonely. I’m really, really lonely. And I don’t know how to say that out loud yet. Hopefully writing it will help. He put the pen down and decideed that’s enough effort for the first day. He checked his phone, thinking maybe he didn’t notice it buzzing while he wrote. No new messages. ...... Eddie’s in Texas. Maddie is getting ready for baby number 2. Bobby and Athena are building a new house. Everyone is busy with their family, and Buck doesn’t seem to fit anywhere. Dr. Copeland has him start to keep a journal to keep track of how he’s feeling, and all it does is (somehow) make everything worse. When a bad call lands Bobby in a coma and brings Eddie back everything becomes overwhelming fast. Buck starts leaning on his old habits, and it’s not long until he spirals out of control.
