Fics like Special Delivery

Chihiro didn’t exactly meet his eyes, looking off to the side of Shiba’s head as he crumpled the paper in his hand. He was uncharacteristically frazzled, a blush riding high on his cheeks and creeping up to his ears while he chewed on his bottom lip — Rokuhira used to make that same face when he asked Shiba to deliver a letter to Chiaki. “Ah,” Shiba said. “So… you wanna ask Hakuri out?” “No.” But after a moment, Chihiro reached up to play with the knot on his bandana, and he looked so much like Chiaki, it was like a punch to Shiba’s gut. “…I think someone like me should live for the sword.” “Oh my god,” Shiba wheezed, and decided that maybe he did need that cigarette after all.
