Fics like The Ordained

Billions of lives are being consumed by a legion of machines. Brave men and women have risen to stand against them — held upright by nothing but hope. This expedition was born from hope too. Find something buried under years of ice on a forgotten planet. All for the sake of the Galaxy, for what it's worth. But no one who boarded that ship expected it to end in yet another catastrophe. And the two who survived certainly had no idea they were about to open a Pandora's box... Because the planet wasn't dead. Life still stirs out there — in the permafrost, in the dark tunnels of the metro. Need I mention the sentient machines? Oops. Already said too much.
