Fics like Light in the Metro

Tanya Degurechaff, the best soldier of the imperial army and the greatest enemy of Entity X, has finally fallen. Not on the front lines. Not by a magic bullet. She was caught by... the Spanish flu. The irony of fate - this is how a soldier's life ends in a world of war. But fate (or rather God, whom she hates) does not let her find peace. When she opens her eyes, she is a child again - an infant, abandoned among the bodies of the dead, in the darkness of the Moscow metro. Dirt. Cold. Rats. A dead woman holding her new body. And children - dirty, frightened, but alive - who look at her with fascination and fear. A new world. A new war. Old rules. Tanya, an officer trapped in a child's body, knows one thing: no matter where they throw her - she will survive. Even if she has to fight mutants, hunger, communists, fascists and other lunatics in this hellish Metro! She will survive!
