Fics like Pointes and Punches

"You love the bird, Mark. I'm the one who has to bleed to make it fly." In 1995, Collins O’Malley was the "Bluebird" of the New York City Ballet—a creature of pure "Manhattan Silk" married to a man who was destined to become a "God of Plastics." But the "Sloan-Shepherd Perimeter" was built on a "Structural Deficiency." Between the high-gloss pressure of Lincoln Center and the silent "Comparison Breach" of Addison Montgomery, Collins began to disappear. She traded her "Grit" for "Systemic Starvation," and her "Foundation" finally snapped on the night of the "Manhattan Demolition." Now, it’s 2006. Collins is back in the "Seattle Rain," serving as the Social Sentry of Seattle Grace. She’s traded her pointe shoes for a leather jacket and her "Silk" for "O’Malley Iron." But when the "Manhattan Incursion" lands at Sea-Tac in the form of Mark Sloan, the "Sentry" must decide if she’s going to audit her past or let the "Wreckage" bury her for good.
