Fics like Pulse

As they stare out at the rain, Eddie reaches over for Buck’s wrist, gently wrapping his fingers around until his fingertips rest right against Buck’s pulse point. He’s taken to doing this regularly during the day, sometimes even unconsciously. He needs the reminder that Buck is here, he’s safe, he’s right under his hands and he’s not going to disappear again. After about a minute has passed, Eddie leans his head against Buck’s shoulder while still lightly holding onto his wrist. Buck immediately rests his head atop Eddie’s, both happily accepting the closeness. After a couple peaceful minutes pass, Eddie quietly clears his throat and minutely tightens his grasp. “Um… Can I try something?” He feels Buck’s jaw shift slightly as he responds, “Course you can.” Eddie takes a moment, heart speeding up, and then slowly turns his head until his lips lightly touch the pulse point in Buck’s neck. He presses a soft kiss there, and feels Buck take a sharp breath. --- Buck and Eddie finally admit what they mean to each other.
