Fics like Save Me

What if everything in the MLH Awards rooftop scene had.gone completely differently? "I feel like I'm home. I don't know what that means. I have never felt at home anywhere in a long time. But right now. With you inside me. Your hands on me. I am home." A canon divergence from Heated Rivalry Episode 1 "Rookies." The MLH awards rooftop scene, rewritten - what Shane and Ilya truly feel about each other, and about the award, when nobody walks away. A character study on how Ilya's scars impact him, on how deeply and freely Shane loves him, and the start of something beautiful. Two boys. One trophy. Zero words big enough for what they feel for each other.
