Fics like Taking a Shot

“You gonna go for it, man?” “I should. He ain’t messin’ with that one dude no more.” “Wonger? Yeah, heard they broke up.” Jabber raises an eyebrow when he hears Arms say his name. Broke up, huh? Yeah, he and a certain someone did, by conventional standards, break up recently, he guesses. Their entire floor must’ve heard one Zanka Nijiku’s declaration of “get the hell away from me” and “never breathe the same air as me again.” And yeah, Jabber snapped back that he’d take the first bus to hell just so he wouldn’t have to see Zanka’s wet dream inducing face again — in those exact words. Okay, sure, broke up, makes sense, but... Zanka can’t be who they’re talking about having a shot with, right? “So now I got a shot. Maybe I can calm down that bad attitude of his.” Holy shit, it is! [Or, the one where Jabber and Zanka break up, some random guy thinks he’s got a shot with Zanka, and Jabber sits back and waits for this loser to royally fuck up since no one can handle Mr. Bad Attitude quite like Jabber can.]
