Fics like The Avatars and the Alchemist

The Avatar, the master of all four elements. The only one who can bring balance to the world by defeating the Fire Lord. Or is he? In another world, there is not one avatar per cycle. Avatars are usually born in pairs. When the last Avatar, Aang, disappeared, that cycle was seemingly put on pause. No new avatar was born in the Water Tribe. At least not one that people could find. About a hundred years later, a now 112-year-old Aang is released from the ice, and a 14 year old Fire Nation prisoner named Korra senses it. The world reels as the cycle begins anew. Yet that's not all there is to this story. On another world, or rather the world between worlds, Edward Elric has just freed himself from Gluttony's pocket dimension, using Envy's philosopher stone. Yet, Ed doesn't find himself back on his world. In a world where nobody has heard of alchemy or Amestris, and where everybody seems to keep confusing him for one of these avatar people (which is irritating him to no end), how will he find his way home? If he even can.
