Fics like One For The Archives

Rae is a history & heritage student and a TA who’s trying to survive deadlines, department politics, and an ex who won’t take no for an answer. When he corners her in the archives, she makes a split-second decision: kiss the next person she sees, just to prove she’s moved on and force him to back off. The problem is the person she collides with isn’t a random stranger—it’s Professor Baelor Targaryen, her brilliant, composed supervisor, and the last man she can afford to be tangled up with. The kiss lights the gossip machine instantly and puts Rae in a precarious position. But Baelor has his own reasons to want the rumour controlled rather than denied. So they strike an agreement: a carefully managed fake relationship with public dates, strict rules, and enough believability to silence speculation. It should be simple, strategic, and temporary. It isn’t. OR I kept seeing professor Baelor headcanons on tiktok, so I wrote this loosely following the plot of The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood for giggles. Modern AU professor Baelor X Original Female Character Student
