Fics like The sweet scent of a flower

They call him “The Iceman.” A cold, distant, and calculating man. In his work, he is a genius who pays attention to every detail, calculating and unflappable. But Mycroft is also a man, and as such, he cannot see the logic in emotions; they are not something that can be deduced and controlled at will. When his heart begins to truly beat for the first time, his armor will start to waver. The certainties built around him will no longer be so solid, and like a mirror, they will reflect a simple man at the mercy of his emotions. Mariam’s past with Sherlock will resurface. The young detective’s hazy memories will lead him to investigate his mother’s death, and his return to Cordona will intertwine the lives of the three protagonists of this story. For Sherlock, life is all about logic and deduction, but what could be more difficult than reducing a feeling such as affection – and perhaps… love – to mere logic?
