Fics like Dave Lister: Hopeless Romantic

Lister joined the Red Dwarf crew 6 weeks ago. He’s desperate to return to Earth but he’s mostly come to terms with his friends on board and his roommate Petersen. His comfortable slobby life comes to an abrupt halt when he finds himself attracted to a certain Arnold J Rimmer (physically that is) and becomes his assistant with the help of a smidgeon of blackmail. Rimmer, who has become an officer in suspicious circumstances, is coming to realise that his life plan might need a few tweaks.
