Fics like Unknown Shores

A different ending of the 2003-movie in which Hook survives. Six years later he can escape Neverland with Peter’s rather unwilling help, who loses his way home. First stranded in the Bahamas, both nemeses and the crew of the Jolly Roger face the new times of 1911, but also mystical creatures, a tricky cartomancer and an ominous Voodoo priest. In search of Blackbeard’s lost treasure, Hook sails to Charleston, but neither he nor Peter ever thought of meeting Wendy here. Caught between business world, the ghosts of Charleston and old myths, pirate captain and storyteller struggle with their rising feelings for each other. And neither them nor Peter – who tries to find help from a Gullah root-doctor, American fairies and a mermaid – are aware of the hurricane that is heading for the town. Full summery inside.
