Fics like When the Watcher Wakes

Sorey was supposed to sleep until the purification was complete. The world was supposed to become a place where humans and seraphim could at last live together as the stories said they once had. But life doesn't care much for what Sorey thinks it's supposed to do. So it's hardly its fault that Sorey wakes up early, Maotelus missing, his own body useless, and with a new crisis on his hands. Pray for the venerated.
