Fics like Innocence Without Ignorance

The Trial of Purity was a trial devised to ensure a Shepherd's innate goodness was real and not simply a matter of naivety. Though the methods are drastic, the importance cannot be overlooked. The Shepherd must prove he is truly more than just a wide-eyed child who knows nothing of the world. tldr: Sorey and Mikleo have sex for a really contrived reason that passes for plot.
