Fics like Behind Violet Eyes: The Vampire Lestat

Lestat de Lioncourt has finally done it: he’s taken the stage, taken the spotlight, and he’s hungry for more. In 2026, he sets his sights on the loudest altar of modern spectacle—a massive concert during Burning Man—where art becomes myth, and the desert swallows secrets whole. But fame has consequences. Between Lestat’s music and Louis’s book, the undead aren’t just murmuring anymore—they’re seething. Old covens bristle. New eyes turn hungry. And somewhere beneath the noise, something far older than their petty politics stirs awake. She has watched empires rise and rot. She has no interest in sharing the world with upstart vampires playing celebrity. And when she looks at Lestat—glittering, reckless, adored—she doesn’t see a rockstar. She sees a perfect vehicle. Now the desert is waiting. The night is listening. And the reign that once ruled in silence is ready to begin again—through violet eyes.
