Fics like the mortifying ordeal of getting everything you've ever wanted

And it’s no different now. Because Buck is a good friend - the best friend Eddie has ever had the privilege of having. He’s been the one sure thing in his and Chris’s lives since they came to LA nearly a decade ago, and the hungry thing in Eddie’s chest that thrives off of each moment spent in proximity to him is spoiled rotten with his easy affection and loving companionship. And that’s enough. It has to be enough, because Buck doesn’t - can’t possibly - feel the same way. ____ or: Buck keeps trying to set him up with women, Eddie crashes out and pines his little heart out, and a night at a motel in the middle of nowhere, Texas changes everything
