Fics like Ego Death

"I wish for the Saiyan Son Goku and I to become the singular, ultimate instrument of justice." What if Zamasu hadn't wished to swap bodies, but instead wished to fuse with the strongest fighter in the multiverse? When Super Shenron takes Zamasu’s wish with a twist, the result isn't a new god, but a car crash of the soul. There is no Goku Black. There is only a collision of two minds forced into a single, mangled identity. One half remembers the warmth of a family and the joy of a fair fight, the other half demands the erasure of all mortal life. Now, trapped in a body that feels like a prison, this being descends upon Future Trunks’ world. But he isn't there just to kill. He's there to mentor and to torture.
