Fics like Whiskey Lips and Amphetamine Kisses

Los Angeles, 1985. Amidst the smell of cheap beer, cigarette smoke, and the promise of rock 'n' roll, Duff McKagan knows that kissing Axl Rose is the worst possible idea. Axl is unpredictable, a hurricane of ego and insecurity who flirts with any girl in the bar just to see himself. But on those stoned nights, on the musty couch of the apartment they share with the band, the boundaries dissolve; stolen kisses become suffocating secrets, and Duff finds himself sinking into an addiction far worse than any drug: the lead singer himself.
