Fics like celebrity skin

In the gritty, electric chaos of 1980s New York City, Izzy Stradlin is a struggling songwriter working nights as a bartender at a rundown punk club. Jaded and lost in a sea of unfinished songs and unfulfilled dreams, he’s ready to call it quits—until he meets Duff McKagan, a wide-eyed bassist with big ambitions and a knack for making even the messiest performances unforgettable. As the two navigate a city teeming with underground music and endless struggle, a chance collaboration sparks between them. But ambition, self-doubt, and the ghosts of their pasts threaten to tear apart the fragile bond they’re building—both in music and in life.
