Fics like I miss you (ignore the fact that you’re standing right in front of me)

Marty’s been through a lot. He likes to tell himself that it’s fine, that it could be worse, but he really has been through a lot. And the one person he could talk to about it? He’s gone. First it was just lost in time with his family, now he’s GONE gone. And it was his fault. But it was fine. He could handle it. He would help the 17 year old Emmett in front of him finish his rocket car and it would be fine. It had to be. ———————————————————————— Marty missed his second father figure. He misses Doc. He saw him, briefly, but before he could even really talk to the man he vanished. Literally. In front of Marty’s eyes. Nevertheless he has to push forward. He has to fix things. He has to.
