Fics like Freefall

Marty was happy for them, really, and happy himself too at first. He had Jennifer, whom he loved, a shiny new truck alongside an actually functional family? It should be perfect. Except he didn’t fit into that happy ending. It hadn’t mattered in the past that he could never focus for long in school or that his impulsiveness landed him in trouble more than a few times. They all had their flaws. Except changing the past hadn’t fixed him like it had them. Or, Marty trying and failing to escape the changes that time travel brought and his own issues.
