Fics like The Finer Details

Ryuji, now in his mid-twenties, is struggling to adjust to adulthood. While past classmates have begun to settle down into office life and start families, Ryuji struggles to figure out what path he will take forward. The traditional life doesn’t seem to be the one for him, but he’s unsure of what else could be out there for him… Taking part time shifts at 777, Ryuji encounters a flourishing Yusuke. Gradually, over time, they encounter each other more often and even begin hanging out regularly again. Although Yusuke’s art has gotten popular, he doesn’t seem as proud of his achievements as expected. Ryuji, baffled by this due to his own insecurities, slowly begins to unravel why… and confront some aspects of himself he has long been avoiding.
