Fics like Contrapasso

"Contrapasso" is from Dantes Inferno meaning "suffer the opposite". Something you feel is happening to you, after dealing with severe emotional upheaval and recovering from a serious injury, you made the impulsive decision to run from your troubles to basically reset your central nervous system. You decided to rent a cabin on a secluded lake in Ottawa where no one would know you. Your self-imposed healing exile is interrupted abruptly when you meet your neighbors on the lake, all-star professional hockey players Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov. Working for the US military has taught you that every action has consequences, even if the action was involuntary. Ilya and Shane are extremely driven men who become fascinated with you after realizing you have no clue who they are as you don’t exactly follow hockey. Nevertheless, voluntarily choosing to become emotionally and physically entwined with Shane and Ilya –submitting to their control of your own free will, is an insane choice to make, and if things go wrong, it will be catastrophic for everyone close enough to the fallout.
