Fics like So What Now?

Shane and Ilya broke up after their Boxing Day fight, and life has… kept happening. Shane met James. He likes James. They’re dating. Shane is moving on. Ilya is moving on too. The only problem is that Shane and Ilya are still completely, inconveniently, hopelessly in love with each other. So this is mostly the story of two people doing a pretty convincing impression of moving on while slowly, stubbornly, and somewhat disastrously finding their way back to each other. ------- Or basically: Shane and Ilya broke up after the Boxing Day fight, and then life did what it does and kept going. They’re dating other people, technically, but neither of them ever really stopped loving the other. They also have years of baggage and a communication style that would make Jane Austen tired as fuck. This is them finding their way back, slowly but surely.
