Fics like Amends

Francis is a recovering alcoholic, attending AA and working through the twelve steps. He reaches out to his former co-worker James to make amends. They reconnect. A modern Fitzier AU. He had hit James, once. Years ago and hard. Directly in the face. This was back when they were still working together, working for Franklin. Before Francis, by necessity, went freelance. He still remembers it sometimes, Jerks off to it occasionally. The flick of James’ head as he bounced back stunned; the pink of his slightly open mouth. His hand hovering about his jaw. And he’d hit him in the office, too.
