Fics like Sundays Are for Calling Home

Jake Peralta likes his Sundays predictable: leftover takeout, a mildly concerning amount of coffee, and a phone call with Captain Holt that is absolutely not emotional bonding. When his estranged father shows up unannounced, Jake does what he does best; jokes louder, smiles wider, and pretends everything is fine. When really... It isn’t. A story about inherited damage, chosen family, and the moment when pretending stops working.
