Fics like Captured in a Flash

Kati Jacobs is skilled with her camera. Why else would she get so many chances to shoot the best models in the Big Apple itself? But this new client feels different. This new client, one who seemingly wants a year-long contract, is confusing to the emerging photographer. Kati has had lengthy contracts, but a year-long is a whole new beast. Not really thinking about it at first, Kati is soon forced to reconcile a lot of her personal problems after seeing that her new client is arguably Japan's hottest uma model. In more ways than one. Gold City returned to modeling after a nasty bout of colic forced her to end the time she had on the racetrack. Something she enjoyed more than anything else, now gone. But with Tracen behind her, she has returned to her old profession with a vengeance, and quickly became not just Japan's most in demand uma model, but top models in general. It's then that her manager suggests flying over to New York to give the American market a shot where she will be under the wing of an old friend of his. But it's only when she meets her new photographer that Gold City has to learn a few new things about herself. Things that she may have buried at the time, but come roaring back.
