Fics like If the world was ending

In an alternate universe, six university students with tangled histories and unspoken feelings are forced together when a sudden zombie outbreak tears through their campus. An Yujin and Jang Wonyoung haven’t spoken in years—ever since a single misunderstanding convinced Wonyoung that Yujin hated her as much as she claimed to hate her. They cross paths constantly, their lives orbiting each other without ever colliding, coexisting in the same spaces while pretending the silence doesn’t hurt. As the world collapses around them, the six are forced to rely on one another to survive—navigating abandoned lecture halls, barricaded dorms, and streets overrun by the infected. Old wounds resurface. Secrets are dragged into the open. Love becomes both a weakness and a reason to keep going. In a world where tomorrow is never guaranteed, the question isn’t just how to survive— but whether it’s finally safe to tell the truth. What Wonyoung never knew was that Yujin had loved her quietly all along, choosing distance over rejection, protection over confession. When the outbreak begins, survival strips away pretense. Instinct betrays the truth: Yujin saves Wonyoung without hesitation. Again. And again.
