Fics like Before the Project

What happens when dangerous drivers target a kid who doesn't even know he's a driver? For Takumi Fujiwara, sixteen, Akina is just a road—a silent, pre-dawn test from a father who speaks in cigarettes and concern. He delivers tofu. He doesn't dream of races. To Ryosuke Takahashi, Akina is part of a larger plan. The RedSuns aren’t here for glory runs or friendly tours. They want the region’s crown — one mountain at a time. Beat every team. Break every record. Humiliate anyone standing in the way of becoming the best in Gunma. He expects resistance. He expects pride. What he doesn’t expect… is what’s waiting on Akina. This is the story before the legend — of a family forged in headlights, and of a boy who will learn that some roads aren’t meant for delivery. They’re meant for war.
