Fics like Room No. 8 (八号室)

(You don't need to be familiar with Room No. 9 nor Initial D to enjoy this fic, but if you are, as long as you mind the tags, that's more for you to appreciate!) After the landslide success of Gunma's local racing expedition, Project D, its leader and its dual aces decide to burn the remaining days of their summer together on a trip to Okinawa. It's Ryousuke's last hurrah before diving deep into his residency at university, while his brother, Keisuke, is interested in trying all the bar spots and meeting new people, and Takumi is simply looking forward to his first real vacation that he can remember in a long time. After all, once they've returned, Takumi and Keisuke will be preoccupied responding to recruitment letters. None of them could know what would be in store for them, and, over a year later, the three men are forced to contend with the consequences of what fate has dealt them.
