Fics like just a touch could never be enough

Even though eventually the horribly inconvenient matter of his wings fluttering open every single time he dares to allow his eyes to linger and announcing his attraction to everyone within a mile with eyesight quelled itself, the root of the problem doesn’t cease. Yes, being too busy with his near-death experience certainly helped, but now all of the discarded thoughts seem to cause some traffic in the forefront of his mind, too afraid of not getting to be actually thought about before something inevitably kills him. And most of those thoughts are far from pure. Still, touching himself, much less over something like this is beyond pathetic. And as much as Wicander has learned his lesson on the matter of being just that, he is just barely above stooping that low. Holding his head above the invisible line on his tiptoes, the way a desperate man would to save himself from drowning. It’s above Wicander to indulge in such primitive impulses, and he will simply sleep it off. Yes, that is the objectively optional trajectory to take. Or, Wicander finally gets ahold of his wings. Not the other things though. Quite the opposite, actually.
