Fics like That Unwanted Animal

There is a cost to existing as an undead with a mind of his own; Occtis finds that his cost is a hunger for blood, one he tries to ignore until he has no other choice. In the Eternal Night, there are few living things to serve as prey, and the hunger does not subside just because he wants it to. Enter Julien, who has little patience with Occtis' struggle over his newly monstrous hunger. AKA the AU where Occtis is trying to do ethical vampirism and Julien is having none of it, because Occtis is starving himself and Julien has SO much blood.
