Fics like We could've been Anything that we wanted to be

“This… is not very.. Hakuna matata…” he whispered, the unfamiliar voice coming out of him only making that fact even more so. Kevin then also realized something else. He was taller. Like, much taller than he usually was. And Kevin was a pretty decent height for a twelve year old, he’d argue. Even his parents had said so! And his outfit too, it was different. Well, for one thing, he didn’t seem to be wearing his St. Churnley uniform anymore. Instead he was wearing a long dark coat, it seemed. And a red striped scarf that was just about as long as Rapunzel’s braid from Disney’s Tangled. It wasn’t a very good scarf though, because the more Kevin adjusted it, the more it seemed to itch the left side of his face in particular. Or After an incident with a first year, Kevin suddenly finds himself trapped in the body of his nineteen year old self. What's worse, he seems to have been catapulted seven years into the future.
