Fics like Hold Me Close (and hold me fast)

Bucky couldn’t look at him, his head was reeling. He took a staggered step back, before moving away down the alley. He could hear Sam yelling for him to come back, it fell on deaf ears. He rounded the corner, trying to get away, he could see a motorbike at the far end of the road if he could just get there he could get away, come back once he’s calmed down. It was too much right now. He could sense Sam getting closer, could hear his heartbeat getting more frantically louder the closer he got. The sound consumed him, heavy and scared, he didn’t realise he wasn’t moving. It made him feel worse, the last thing he wanted right now was to not be in control of his actions. “Bucky,” Sam had caught up standing in front of him, Bucky no longer knew whose heart he could hear, the staccato rhythm overwhelmed him. If he focused he would be able to see the jump in Sam’s pulse point but he didn’t. OR 5 times Sam accidentally held Buckys hand + 1 time it wasn’t an accident And all the subsequent events that follow Chapters 1/2 were originally a joke for a friend but I got far too committed
