Aventurine, unfortunately, has a magnetic quality to him, one that makes it hard to let him leave Sugilite’s sight. That might be his greed though, he never wants to be parted from his most prized possessions. Sugilite does not consider himself a gambling man, but he takes a chance, a risk (a very badly calculated risk), when he invites Aventurine along on a boring job. He tells himself it's simply for entertainment. Beaches and pools are not Sugilite's ideal way of relaxing, so what better way to fix that problem than bringing along his own pet. But he doesn't account for how spending an entire week in Aventurine's presence will make him feel. And feeling is never a good thing when it comes to Sugilite.
