UPDATED SUMMARY: On the eve of her wedding to William, tragedy strikes Elizabeth, leaving her fighting for her life. The creature appears, and while assisting Victor to save Elizabeth's life, becomes her sole caretaker. Following the appearance of a messenger from Stirling, Victor goes in search of his younger brother, whose fate is unknown. Alone with the Creature, Elizabeth faces the aftermath of her injuries, struggles with her fiance's disappearance, and finds comfort in the attentive presence of a man others perceive as a monster. Victor Frankenstein was designed by his father for one purpose: to be a surgeon.
