Fics like For Human, Grossly Underqualified

After his duck family is detained, Otis decides to take Ms. O’s offer and join Odd Squad. Here are three true facts about Otis right now. Otis knows he is evil. Otis doesn’t know Olympia. Otis doesn’t know how to speak - not really. It’s not a great start. As the seasons pass and he grows into his place on the squad, Otis needs to learn to connect with humans. When any misstep could put his new life in jeopardy, this is a more challenging ask than may seem. Otis might not know how to be human yet, but he knows how he can get there, and he’s willing to put in the work. Or: a canon-compliant character study on Agent Otis and his relationship to language, to himself, and to Olympia.
