Fics like Better Days

A few weeks have passed since Sherlock and John's unhappy reunion at the Landmark restaurant, and John wants to make amends. On a cold November morning, he sets out for Baker Street. The day, which begins with promise, rapidly goes downhill. A tale of crushed expectations and painful disappointments ... and, eventually, the happiest of endings.
