Fics like Double Dragon Trouble

There is a moment when the Fire Nation soldiers come for Aang where Sokka throws off the pretense of his human form, and is unexpectedly met with a mirror. The person who had been leading the soldiers down the ramp of the old cruiser discards his human shape at nearly the same moment, and there is a pause, shocked as much as anything, where two very uncertain dragons bristle, arch their necks, and hiss like angry, overgrown geese.
