Fics like Honeydew (Salted)

“You’re stewing.” Dick comments. “Mulling,” Slade corrects. They’re the same thing, really, but Dick nods like this makes the most sense. “Like fine wine.” He agrees. “Although, I do enjoy a good stew.” This from the man Slade has given his all against more than once, the omega who’d have evaded his less than subtle manoeuvring if he didn’t want it—need it—after the fissure between him and his pack alpha following Jason’s death. Practically the most capable person in any room, the only vigilante worth his salt. And yet somehow, his default mode of humour is to pun, and he genuinely thinks he’s funny too. No one is perfect, Slade supposes. … Dick returns to Bludhaven with his new pup, alpha, and pack, but pulling on the Nightwing suit again might have to wait a minute when danger comes knocking on their new front door.
