Fics like I Want to See You Smile Again

"Thoughts of Elphie and Fiyero had kept the abyss of despair at bay for a long time. Now, they were giving her something sweet to hold onto, some last glimmers of warmth and happiness and love, as she slipped towards the end." or The day after Elphaba and Glinda parted ways in the Emerald City, Glinda went missing. After an agonizing year of futile searching, Elphaba learns the horrible truth: Morrible sold Glinda as a pleasure slave outside of Oz. Elphie and Fiyero go to rescue Glinda, but find a broken shell of the vibrant girl they knew at Shiz. Perhaps most disturbingly, she has completely lost the ability to speak. Glinda has given up. But Elphie and Fiyero are determined to help her learn to be happy again.
