Cast out by the Clan of his birth, then by the Clan he had chosen. Slain nine times in a single blow, by a cat he thought to be a useful tool for revenge. Despised by his only surviving kin, and his loyal son increasingly turning to Brokenstar for guidance. Denied by StarClan themselves, never again to feel the sun on his fur. Abandoned by his father, who had turned his back on his Clan for the weak, soft life of a kittypet. All of it would be worth it, if only he could have his revenge. For so long, that has been the goal that kept him going. And he failed. “Was it worth it?” A lifetime of hatred, of being denied, all for this? Doomed to be a villain in Firestar’s legend? A shameful, looming shadow in the life of his son; as his own father had been in his? Cast off by all, to eventually be forgotten. Was it worth it, truly? No. -- After his final death, Tigerstar wakes up. Surrounded by cats he thought never to see again and haunted by his failures, he overhears a prophecy that changes the course of the future.
