Fics like The threads of time

Firestar had lived a long life, longer than many cats he had known in life, and yet when that fateful day came for him to take his place amongst the stars he hesitated. After a life like his many would delight in the chance to take a well deserved break, and yet even though Firestar’s spirt had been lifted from his body his paws ached with restlessness. His chest burned with unease, his desire to stay washed through him like an untamed tempest. It was selfish, selfish after all those he him himself had seen their lives cut short. That Firestar knew and yet he did not want to die… That was when a cat appeared before him. (Or a Firestar reborn In into the wild Au)
