Fics like Ninjago: Masters of the Rewrite

For those who grew up with the show and loved it, but now see all the problems with the writing. This is for you. :) I will be staying as close to canon as possible, with a few key details altered and characters actually growing throughout the show. (Also, I promise Jay is less whiny.) Alternatively: You ever go back and rewatch a show from when you were really little then realize the writing could be better so you rewrite the entire show with more angst, character growth, and darker themes? Yeah. Me too.
