Narvi approached the table of gossiping elves, a look on defeat painted on his face. "I swear to Mahal, the tension was thick enough to smelt ore in. There was literally no space between them and then... nothing. They just... stood there like decorative statues. It's a travesty." "It’s worse than a travesty," Laelwen groaned, crossing her arms, slumping in her chair, careless of the fact that she didn't exactly look very elf-like at the moment. "It’s an insult to all of us who’ve been forced to watch this slow-burn courtship for years." Glamdir set his cup down firmly, a little bit of wine spilling on the table. "Right, that's it. I’m organizing a betting pool. How long until one of them finally confesses?" --- Or: Ost-In-Edhil is a place of artists, scientists, creators, visionaries. It's a place where everything feels possible. It's also a place full of people who like drama, gossip, and unorthodox forms of entertainment. What happens when some of them form a gossiping club who regularly sets the most absurd wagers on the developing feelings between Annatar and Celebrimbor? And how will this group of unhinged people affect their relationship?
